Best of September

Ah, Sept, almost fall!  My fave time of the year.

2010

These are my FIRST pictures with my Canon Rebel SX/DSLR – Previously, anything before Sept 2010 was scanned from my film photos (still a Rebel, I’m a Canon girl)

2013

I spent 7 weeks in Milliknocket, ME doing my clinicals.  The last two shots of 2013 are my first “long exposure” shots.

I was at my 1st New Mexico assignment for all of Sept of 2015 – what a great area too!

The below picture was taken atop an inactive volcano – in that view, you can see Texas in the far distance.

I bought some relatively cheap magnification/marco lens filters.  Most of these are at 2x

Moose!  This is a little one.  This is a scanned photo, in fact, I had my old film Rebel with  me this day.

2016

When I came back from New Mexico, I had gotten a new lens – since I hike, and need to haul water, etc with  me.  I wanted a more “all in one” lens.  I picked up a Tamron 18-270mm.  It’s a midgrade lens, and sometimes you get some noise.  The editing program I use though, I can easily get rid of the noise.  This is one of my first shots with it.  I really love the lens.

ECHO!  The newest addition to our family (and the LSAT for a while) – yeah, if ONLY she stayed this size!

A lot about photography is about timing, and sometimes luck!  I was lucky to spend time in the MidCoast area, and the rainbow shots were 1000% luck of timing.
