There are just some nights where you know the sky is going to light up.
I’ve been teasing around more with my settings – so that I have to edit less afterwards. I think its working.
I love dark and light – and photographing an object against the light – but its not always to find. I got lucky when I was running around the island this night and found a simple dock post with rope just hanging from it. Perfect.

Caterpillar Hill is a good climb and then you’re almost at Deer Isle, right after CH, you can stop at ECS – Eggemogin Country Store – where you can grab a slice of pizza, some great chicken nuggets, fresh subs or lobstah….

I have to admit. The sunsets on the coast are wicked – it has to be the whole ocean thing.
