Oh Cherry Mountain! Nice hike on a very hot day, shady and comfortable hike. A few steep spots however. Worth the trek!
Of course, I hunted out the mushrooms. As well as how the great shafts of light were hitting the ground. Never know what you will find and make for a great picture.
Mr. Frog jumped over my boots so I thought I’d take his picture. He didn’t sit still for very long, however.
The views! You cannot beat the views, can you? ‘nuff said.

Great hike! Not super long (3 miles total).
Can’t say enough about the views.

I got a lens balls and I have been having some fun with it. Not sure I am in love with it, but I am working towards that!
As always I found mushrooms! When it takes 3 miles to get up to the views, sometimes you entertain yourself with taking pictures of ‘shrums.
I took a quick walk while antiquing for my sister in law, and took along my Rebel.
Maybe its just the name, but I do like this place!
As an aside, one of the worst marked trails ever!
Also a tough hike, not a moderate trail at all, definitely on the hard side!
I am going to somehow get a night shoot here this summer! I think it would be sweet!
