I was sitting in my living room when I saw the light outside changing. I chase the light often, and I had a good feeling. Off I went!
I literally jogged to the river last night. I’d turn, snap a few pictures. Jog while fiddling with settings. Turn. Snap a few pictures.
It’s rare we get those great purples up here, and getting the cast reflection from the sky on the rail was an interesting endeavor!
They sky changes quickly. One minute you see purples, the next the sky is on fire with orange and reds.
I finally got off the tracks and started the 2nd leg of my job down the potato field road to the water.
Photos taken before the time of digital. Imagine only having 24 opportunities to take the perfect picture. Photography has taken a huge leap in popularity in the last few years – Mainly due to the fact that its become so easy with cheaper cameras, lens, and post processing to take a GREAT picture. You take a “good” picture and make it great with post processing. Back in “the day” you had to take a great pic right out of the camera.
